Rajreet Sarkar is a skilled Software Engineer with over 2 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently working with Anchanto, he has gained expertise in various technologies including Computer Vision, Backend development, OpenCV, Image Processing, Python, MongoDB, Flask, and more. Rajreet completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur in 2021. During his college years, he gained practical experience through a software engineering internship at Anchanto. Prior to joining Anchanto, Rajreet worked as a Software Development Intern (Computer Vision) at PRM Fincon. Here, he was responsible for developing a production-level program in Python that extracted data from financial report PDFs. He optimized the code for Header and Paragraph Extraction and reduced runtime from over an hour to less than 15 minutes. He also improved accuracy for Table detection and developed a new production-level program for financial forms (Form 16) extraction from both electronic and scanned PDFs. Rajreet worked with various image processing technologies like Tesseract (OCR), OpenCV, and algorithms like RLSA, thresholding, morphology, skew correction, and more. He also worked on Backend development using Flask (API, client/server requests), MongoDB (Database Management), Celery, and more. Rajreet is a highly motivated individual with a passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
