Rajshri Pendekar is a highly experienced software developer with a strong background in finance, electronics, and telecommunications. With over 11 years of experience, she has developed a deep understanding of these fields and has successfully applied her knowledge to create efficient, resilient, and distributed software. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Google, Rajshri has previously worked as a Quantitative Analyst at FinIQ Consulting, where she was responsible for developing C++ applications to receive and save Reuters market data feed, managing the end-to-end delivery of a DCD project for a major South-East Asian Bank, and implementing mathematical models such as Black Scholes and Vanna Volga, Volatility Surface Interpolation, and Monte Carlo simulations. She also developed the Appraisal System from scratch, supporting various question types and different sets of questions based on the employee department and designation. Rajshri is also the Co-Founder of GT Live Game Show, a real-time and real-money gaming app that has been downloaded over 200,000 times. She designed the system to be highly scalable, have low latency, and be concurrent, with heavy use of caching and lowering the number of database connections. She created the backend in Go and Python, which at its peak served about 2000 requests per second. She used Firebase Realtime database for broadcasts to the user apps, with a fallback to Websockets, and created an event ingestion system to track user events, which she later adapted to a support portal. Rajshri holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Telecommunications from the College of Engineering and an H.S.C. from Yogeshwari Mahavidyalaya-Ambajogai.
