Rajus Dhoble is a highly skilled Software Engineer 2 at Microsoft, Redmond, with almost 9 years of relevant experience in developing large-scale data processing pipelines and cloud-based highly scalable services. He is a proud alumnus of International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H), where he completed his Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. Currently, Rajus is working in a small, fast-paced team at Microsoft, focused on developing data analysis products and infrastructure for Microsoft Teams to improve call quality and reliability. He has a deep understanding of various technologies and has worked with them as part of academic projects, hackathons, and at work. He loves venturing into unknown territory of new technologies/frameworks and learn them hands-on while working on a project. Rajus has a strong track record of delivering high-quality results and has worked on adapting and deploying the public cloud version of Call Quality Dashboard (CQD) to restricted government clouds. He has also developed custom Power BI connector using M-Query language to enable customers to access CQD data within Power BI. In his previous role at Microsoft, Rajus worked in the Media Intelligence Team, where he worked on big data technologies to integrate Microsoft Teams call quality and reliability data into Microsoft Call Quality Dashboard (CQD). He also owned the log downloading data pipeline of a system which processes logs and telemetry in order to automatically analyze and triage incoming bugs. He helped to drive the cloud architecture design of data pipeline and migrated the data pipeline from a monolithic process to highly scalable Azure architecture using Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Data Explorer, and other Azure cloud offerings. Rajus has a strong educational background, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Institute of Technology & Management, Gwalior, and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT-H. He has a strong tech stack, including Software Engineer, Azure, infra, and Big Data.
