With 14.04 years of relevant experience, Rakesh is currently serving as the Manager of Programs & Operations for APAC at Salesforce. In his current role, he is responsible for driving operational excellence and executing programs that help the company achieve its strategic goals. Prior to joining Salesforce, Rakesh worked as a Sr. Programs Manager for APAC at Microsoft, where he was responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring early-in-career talent from Tier 1 & Tier 2 engineering, business, and design schools for internships and full-time roles. He also built a world-class internship program aimed at elevating intern experience through real-time challenging projects, mentorship, and fun-filled engagements. Rakesh's expertise in recruitment and talent management is reflected in his educational background. He holds an EPLM degree in Leadership Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, an MBA in Human Resources Development from the International Business Institutes Brussels, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science from Aurora Degree College. As a research scientist, Rakesh has a strong tech stack and an in-depth understanding of market research and intelligence. He has also been involved in a host of programs and initiatives around D&I, CSR, PWD, and early-in-career.
