Rakesh Budde is an experienced DevOps Engineer with a passion for delivering mission-critical activities. He has over 2 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering, with a strong focus on AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Python, and Jenkins. Currently working as a Software Engineer 1 at Cloudera, Rakesh has a proven track record of delivering successful projects and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. Rakesh's experience includes working as a Senior Engineer - Cloud & Infra Services at L&T, where he procured strong knowledge in AWS services such as EKS, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, EC2, EFS, EBS, VPC, Subnets, etc. He also worked on POCs for Private EKS Cluster and product components deployment setup in AWS, and the conversion of Docker microservices to Distroless microservices. Rakesh successfully migrated Spark from EMR to Kubernetes, which helped reduce the execution time from 30 minutes to 5 minutes. He also published their product(LUMIN) to the AWS Marketplace by using AMI + CloudFormation templates and created a single-click deployment script from scratch to deploy the entire product into Kubernetes by integrating Terraform, Ansible, and Shell scripts. He transformed normal Dockerfiles to Multi-stage Dockerfiles to improve the building efficiency and moved them to the production environment. He also designed and set up Jenkins Pipelines (CI/CD) for microservices deployment and configured Prometheus Alertmanager in the Kubernetes cluster to send alerts. Rakesh also contributed to the hiring process by taking technical interviews for L1. Rakesh holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Vasavi College of Engineering, a Diploma in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Vivekananda College of Polytechnic, and completed his SSC from Zilla Parishad High School.
