Rakesh Chandrashekar is a Technical Architect at Bosch with over 12 years of experience in MATLAB, Simulink, and Targetlink (d-Space) application development. He specializes in powertrain modeling, specifically diesel systems, and has worked on HIL testing for power steering and powertrain using d-Space bench with clients such as Continental. Rakesh has extensive experience in MATLAB programming, including the usage of Sim-Power system, DSP, and Statistics toolboxes. He has also worked on model-based design of vehicle dynamics and chassis controls, specifically air suspension systems, in Simulink. Rakesh is highly knowledgeable on powertrain and has a good understanding of level control, actuators, and air manager of the suspension system. He possesses strong debugging and problem-solving skills with an excellent understanding of system development methodologies, techniques, and tools. He has successfully coordinated with on-site customers both in Germany and India for a period of one year. Before joining Bosch, Rakesh worked at L&T as a Project Lead and at Bosch as an Associate Project Manager, where he worked on powertrain software modeling in Matlab platform and HIL testing using LAB CAR. Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University, where he studied Electronics and Communication. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Tech from the same university. Aside from his technical skills, Rakesh is also proficient in Python and has experience in senior software engineering, test, and infrastructure. With over 16 years of relevant experience, Rakesh is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
