Rakesh Godhwani is a passionate educator, writer, and entrepreneur who left the corporate world in 2008 to follow his dream. He is the founder and Chairman of the School of Meaningful Experiences (SoME), an edtech venture that offers leadership programs based on their Six Cs philosophy for all age groups from 9 to 45 years. He is also an Adjunct Faculty at IIM Bangalore, IIM Udaipur, and Ahmedabad University, where he teaches courses on Charismatic Leadership & Communication, Persuasion and influencing, and designing Online Courses and learning programs. Rakesh is a prolific author and has authored four books so far. His latest book, "Public Speaking Kaleidoscope," is the literature review chapter of his doctoral thesis. His third book, "What to Say and When to Shut Up!," published by Penguin Random House, is on a topic that he teaches and researches - Persuasive Communication and Charismatic Leadership. Rakesh's educational background includes an MBA from IIM Bangalore, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Leadership Communication from Cardiff Metropolitan University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computers from NIT. In addition to his work in education, Rakesh has worked as an Adjunct Professor of Communication for Leaders and Business Communication at the Indian Institute of Management. He has launched an online course called "Present with Confidence" in partnership with a young startup of Bangalore called Chalkstreet. Rakesh is passionate about the future of learning, education reform, and entrepreneurship. He is a Research Scientist and proficient in C programming.
