Rakesh Gupta is an accomplished engineering leader with over 25 years of experience in the global IT industry. He possesses a unique depth and breadth of experience in global IT services delivery management, product development, consulting, business development, engineering processes frameworks, vendor management, P&L, and cross-functional roles. Rakesh has held leadership positions with business operations, strategy, services delivery, relationship management, budgeting, and organization growth responsibilities. He has led various initiatives in the domain of IoT, healthcare insurance, NFC payment, HRIMS, mobility, fraud management, travel expense, and others, leveraging technology stacks for web and mobile application solutions. As an alumnus of IIT, Delhi, and SUNY, Buffalo, NY, Rakesh possesses strong analytical and logical thinking skills. He is passionate about creating a self-nourishing ecosystem for attracting and retaining high-performing teams to deliver the best capabilities. He has managed global clients and geographically spread cross-functional teams (400+ FTE’s) with P&L responsibilities of about $20M. Currently, Rakesh serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Bhavna Corp. In his previous roles, he has served as the Head of Information Technology at Mobilecomm Professionals and as the Vice President of Solutions Architecture and Delivery at Aeris Communications. At Aeris Communications, Rakesh created a global services team for solution business to ensure customer success. He established engineering delivery processes and mechanisms to support global customers. He was responsible for building end-to-end solutions for customers in the IoT space and defining metrics for objective assessment of customer relationships. Rakesh's education history includes a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His tech stack includes mobile, web, and GCP. With 27.37 years of relevant experience, Rakesh is a technology management executive with extensive and diverse global delivery expertise.
