Rakesh K is a seasoned Backend Engineering Lead with a wealth of experience in building complex software applications. He is an alumnus of NIT Surathkal and has over 16 years of experience in the industry. Currently, Rakesh is working as a Lead Backend Engineer at Instabase, where he is responsible for building scalable distributed systems and enabling next-generation workflow capabilities. Rakesh's expertise lies in Python, Linux, Software Design, Microservices, Cloud Native Applications, Backend Services, and Enterprise Development. He has worked with various companies, including Intel, where he was a Staff Software Engineer and owned the end-to-end product roadmap, design, development, and delivery of mission-critical products for Intel Assembly Test factories. At Instabase, Rakesh focuses on deploying groundbreaking technical solutions to solve customers' hardest problems, working cross-functionally with Customer Development and Engineering teams, and constantly soliciting feedback from customers and colleagues to improve products over time with rapid iteration cycles. Outside of work, Rakesh enjoys playing table tennis, badminton, and singing a line or two. He is a well-rounded individual who is constantly exploring new things to broaden his horizons. Rakesh has a PUC degree in Science from Govindram Seskaria Science College. He is highly skilled in Backend, Python, Microservices, Integration, Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and test.
