Rakesh Kumar is an experienced DevOps Engineer with over 18 years of relevant experience. He is currently working at Pacificlife Insurance TCS as a DevOps Engineer, where he has been responsible for working with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Azure DevOps and Bitbucket. He has also demonstrated his expertise in Python and Powershell and has experience working with configuration management tools such as Ansible. Rakesh has also worked with public cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. In his current role, Rakesh has planned and executed migration and set up replication from Gitlab to Azure DevOps repo. He has also administered and supported Atlassian application stack (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket). Rakesh is proficient in Splunk search processing language, reporting, dashboards, and search techniques. Rakesh has also worked with Matrixx Software as a DevOps/QA Engineer, where he created and maintained build pipelines with Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker. He has experience with service monitoring systems like Zabbix-based monitoring tool & AWS Cloud Watch. Rakesh has a solid understanding of a Linux environment and the networking stack and has worked with VmWare virtualization to provision and manage CentOS machines.
