Rakesh Sidana is an accomplished entrepreneur, mentor, and author with over 25 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry. He is the Founder, CEO, and Director at Meri Garage and Pakka Parts, two B2B ventures that focus on empowering small multi-brand garages and repair centers through digitization and technology. Mr. Sidana is a visionary who builds new markets with technologies, and his innovative business model has won several awards from the Government and IIMA. He is also the founder of MeriCAR, India's first aggregator digital platform for 5000 car garages, which was launched in 2008. As the CEO and Managing Director of Garage Software Pvt Ltd, a DPIIT-recognized innovative startup, Mr. Sidana's mission is to empower garages and mechanics with 100% technology and focus on the B2B side. He is also the founder of Pakka Parts, a chain of branded franchise outlets for multi-brand auto spare parts, which is helping India to have availability and affordability of genuine spare parts in tier-2, tier-3, and tier-5 cities and towns. Mr. Sidana is a mentor for IIM students and a startup mentor at NASSCOM. He has built startup communities and platforms and conducts webinars for garages and mechanics to upskill them. He has also visited management institutions as a guest of honor and speaker. Mr. Sidana's strengths lie in building disruptive businesses from scratch to scale and creating a large value with great $ business out of it. Mr. Sidana has a degree in food technology and processing, a post-graduate diploma in management and computer, and has attended Entrepreneur Training Sessions at IIM.
