Rakesh Verma is a passionate product enthusiast and open-source evangelist with over 6 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Backend Lead at Pyxis One, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of the platform. Rakesh has a sound working knowledge of the full-stack web development environment, from setup to scale. Rakesh is a Google Summer of Code 2016 Intern and has been contributing to Drupal. He mostly writes PHP in his day-to-day adventures with Drupal but also loves scripting and contributing to projects built with Python. He is an avid competitive programmer and enjoys solving challenges on Codechef and Hackerearth. He mostly uses C++ STL for his competitive coding. Competitive programming is the part Rakesh enjoys most as a developer because it clears his coding concepts and teaches him about the approach that should be taken while solving problems. Rakesh has been developing websites since high school and has a good knowledge and experience of working with various CMS like WordPress, Drupal, and OSCommerce. Most of the code he has written can be found on his Github profile. He is comfortable with Git, Bitbucket, and any other task management tool like Jira. Rakesh has worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Pharmeasy, where he helped to finalize code architecture and implementation on the backend side of the app and website. He also took care of deliverables with quality. Rakesh has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University and is a certified ethical hacker from EC-Council University. He has a good understanding of various technologies, including Backend, Ruby, PHP, SQL, Web, Python, Software Engineer, Kubernetes, Microservices, AWS, AI, Redis, Docker, MySQL, and Mobile.
