Rakib Ahmed is an experienced IT Process Architect and Transition & Transformation Project Manager at IBM. With over 15 years of relevant experience, Rakib has a proven track record of successfully leading workshops and guiding teams to deliver project tasks for service management services being transitioned from incumbents or new services introduction. Rakib's expertise lies in business analysis of existing and new process requirements for delivery of a service, designing processes based on ITIL framework as per the account requirement, and conducting operational compliance review against established process and procedures in the areas of Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Deployment, Service Level, Reporting etc. He is also skilled in identifying gaps/areas for process improvement and driving improvement implementation. Rakib's past experience as a Software Release Manager and Planning and Release Manager at IBM has equipped him with the skills to facilitate/serve as a liaison between varying business units to guarantee smooth and timely delivery of software products or updates. He is also well-versed in planning and successfully implementing all the release activities (software upgrades, security patches, new level/version, etc) in IT sector, thus making sure that there is minimal or no risk caused to the organizational structure. Rakib holds a Corporate Master of Business Administration (C-M.B.A.) from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Bangalore University. He also holds H.S.S.L.C and H.S.L.C degrees from G.C. College, Silchar, Assam, and Holy Cross School, Silchar, Assam, respectively. Rakib is a Senior Software Engineer and has experience working with various technologies. He is a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
