Rakshak Malhotra is a dedicated and passionate software engineer currently working at Microsoft. With almost two years of relevant experience, he has previously worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Amazon where he developed a service to automate the onboarding of new DBUsers to the Datanet platform to run jobs. This helped his team save up to 3 days of On-call efforts each week and 1-week waiting time for their customers. Rakshak is proficient in modern web frameworks like NodeJs, Django, and Ruby on Rails. He is also skilled in programming languages such as Javascript, C/C++, Python, and SQL as well as NoSQL databases. Rakshak is a final year undergraduate pursuing his B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur. He is an innovator, creator, competitive programmer, and a startup enthusiast. He is a technophile with an outgoing personality, a team worker, event manager, successful leader, and a learner who is always keen to deep dive into new technology. He is also an avid chess player and has won various chess championships. In his free time, he enjoys reading books, solving Rubik's Cube, and watching movies. Rakshak is a firm believer in learning from failure and has a positive attitude towards challenges. He is always excited to have debates on political, social, and technical views.
