Rakshika Raju is a talented software engineer with a strong passion for designing and building quality software solutions that are scalable, secure, and viable. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Computer Science at Northeastern University and is seeking co-ops/internships for Spring and Summer 2023 for software development roles. With 3.5 years of industry experience as a technical consulting engineer at Cisco, Rakshika has extensive knowledge in diagnosing and fixing client network issues related to Network Management Systems (NMS) and network device management over SNMP, SSH, NETCONF. She has provided network design assistance for customers to deploy NMS software to manage network infrastructure in multi-vendor environments to have maximum possible uptime. Rakshika has also investigated software and database issues by querying, updating, and maintaining the Oracle SQL database. She has leveraged REST APIs to create automation and monitoring dashboards using Python and Postman, and authored custom shell scripts to meet custom requirements of customers. Rakshika is well-versed in a variety of programming languages, including Java, Python, R, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, PHP, C, C++, NodeJS, REST API, and Shell Scripting. She also has experience working with databases such as MySQL, SQLite, and MongoDB. Additionally, Rakshika has experience working with various tools and libraries, including Eclipse, Git, Postman, R studio, Anaconda, Python - Pandas, NumPy, Paramiko, and networking and operating systems such as TCP/IP stack, OSI Model, EIGRP, OSPF, SNMP, Netconf, Network Management SW, Linux, and VMware. Rakshika is a driven individual who believes that learning is a continuous process. She is looking forward to using efficient algorithms and adopting appropriate programming languages, platforms, and data structures to solve complex problems in the industry via internships while pursuing her master's degree.
