Rakshit Kumar is a passionate software engineer with over 1 year of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working as a Software Developer at myKaarma, where he created a JAVA-based template engine library that supports complex features including inheritance and data manipulation pipelines. He also created the front-end editor component (Angular) for the same, which has features like syntax highlighting, code auto-completion, and code snippets. Previously, Rakshit worked as a part-time Software Engineer at a Canadian Fintech startup Kelp, where he helped build the world's most stable and secure cryptocurrency. He worked on the DevOps, Frontend, and Backend features of the Kelp Wallet, using a tech stack that includes React Native, AWS, Strapi, Node.js, Solidity, and Truffle. Rakshit started his journey as a software engineering intern at the Silicon Valley startup Milkie Way, Inc. He was also a part-time Software Engineer at a Canadian Fintech startup Lutra Labs, Inc. and a World Finalist at the Hack.Asia hackathon conducted by Jardine Matheson, Dairy Farm, and Agorize in Singapore. Rakshit is a Google Developer Student Club ex-Lead at Indian Institute of Technology(BHU), Varanasi. He is an experienced former project member of the Google Open Source project Oppia, which has a demonstrated history of working in the primary/secondary education industry. He is skilled in Software Engineering, Native App Development, Full Stack Web development, Machine Learning, and Competitive Programming. Rakshit is pursuing an Integrated Dual Degree(B. Tech + M. Tech) focused on Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. He is proficient in a wide range of tech stacks, including Software Engineering, Javascript, AWS, Solidity, Frontend, Web, Backend, Truffle, DevOps, ML, NodeJS, Spring Boot, AI, Smart Contract, Selenium, test, Spring, Jenkins, Microservices, Flask, AngularJS, Java, and React Native. Apart from his professional pursuits, Rakshit loves to travel, meet new people with diverse backgrounds, solve real-world problems, and learn anything new in general.
