Rakshit Shukla is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer at Samsung Research Institute with over 3.86 years of relevant experience in the field of AI, software engineering, research, and mobile development. He is a software professional who specializes in vision solutions and computational imaging algorithms, quantitative modeling methods, and is currently working on deep video stabilization and high-speed motion detection, along with other mini-projects. Rakshit is an innovative thinker who is passionate about research and bringing something new to life. He is currently working at Samsung as a Senior Software Engineer - Visual AI, where he started working on video stabilization and hyperlapse commercialization and enhancement work. He managed and worked on an intern project for full-frame video stabilization using homography and L1 optimal path computation. Rakshit is currently coordinating with universities under PRISM initiative to work on projects with professors and students directly in the university. He is managing two projects with around four students and one professor each, including deep video inpainting using neighboring frames to remove artifacts in real-time and video inpainting using multiple fields of view. Rakshit has also worked in the past as a Software Professional - Visual AI at Samsung, where he developed the Super Slow Motion (SSM) autotrigger algorithm for motion detection at very high frame rates and trigger sensor to record video at 960 fps. He also researched and developed a proprietary algorithm for autotrigger and created a dataset for high fps motion detection. Rakshit has also worked as a Summer Intern at Samsung, where he developed a Java tool to calculate throughput for 4G LTE and 5G NR in different conditions based on factors like attenuation due to distance, speed of the client, etc. Rakshit holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, which he completed in 2019. He is highly proficient in various tech stacks, including AI, software engineering, research scientist, mobile, Android, and Java.
