Rakshit Tiwari is a skilled coder and software engineer with a Bachelor of Technology in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. With almost three years of relevant experience, he has worked with top companies such as Jupiter and Clumio, where he has been responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining various applications and platforms. Currently working as a Software Engineer II at Jupiter, Rakshit has been recognized as the 'Customer hero' for his outstanding performance throughout the year on all fronts. He is the sole member of the engineering team to win the same in 2022. Rakshit has designed and developed the vault service, which is used across the organization for PII data management with RBAC controls. He has also designed and developed the delivery platform, which is used as the real-time message delivery orchestrator for various purposes on Jupiter apps ranging from chat message delivery, home/money page updates, etc. In his previous role as a Software Engineer at Jupiter, Rakshit was responsible for building and maintaining the chat platform, IVR platform, and ticket management system for all Jupiter apps, including Jupiter Edge. He re-architected the chat platform to be majorly backend-driven, helping in avoiding app releases in 90% of the feature releases. Rakshit also led, designed, and developed the internal one view product, which was responsible for improving CS team efficiency while solving customer queries. He developed the downtime management service, which is used across the organization, acting as a decision-maker for switching in-app behavior during downtimes. As a Member of Technical Staff at Clumio, Rakshit carried out PoC's with Kernel level minifilters in C++ to investigate mechanisms required for optimizing backup times for a SQL database. He was majorly involved in building UI for the platform using TS, React, Redux, Sagas with a huge focus on writing clean and highly testable code. Rakshit also worked with Github actions and Jenkins scripts to set and speed up the pipelines required for the project by almost 30-40%. He was responsible for consistently keeping > 90% and improving the code quality as and when required for the entire codebase. Rakshit is proficient in various tech stacks such as Software Engineering, Backend, SQL, Jenkins, Redux, and UI.
