Rakshita Jain is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in backend development using Java, Nodejs, and Python. She is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Jio, where she is responsible for developing APIs for JioCloud application. Rakshita has engineered, maintained, and owned the backend for major Microservices like Upload, Share, and Post Upload for Jiocloud and JioTransfer in JAVA. She has also led a team of 5 software engineers for building a face recognition system for grouping user photos according to distinct faces in Python. Rakshita has a strong background in developing Microservices and has developed a highly scalable microservice architecture using NodeJs, Cassandra, and Kafka. She has also developed a python Microservice applying machine learning principles to automatically select user images and generate a collage or video for increasing user engagement from scratch. Along with this, she has also implemented unit testing, automation, and performance testing for projects using JUnit, TestNG, Appium frameworks, and JMeter. Prior to Jio, Rakshita has worked as a Software Development Engineer at Housing, where she worked in the backend team of rent cluster, mainly on the Ruby on Rails framework. She has also worked as an Intern at Amazon, where she had set up an Integration Testing Platform using TestNG framework for consumer service. These tests reduced manual testing efforts and checking the code before deploying it automatically. She also implemented a couple of new APIs in JAVA. Rakshita holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. She has a strong technical background in Software Engineering, Microservices, Backend, Python, ML, Java, Cassandra, Kafka, NodeJS, Integration, and has relevant experience of 7.45 years.
