Ramakrishna Shastri is a Senior Software Engineer at Target with over 4.5 years of relevant experience. He has a full stack experience in product development using Java and React. Ramakrishna is passionate about building products with a focus on writing high-quality code by incorporating software design principles and patterns. Currently, he is building a platform and product to enable businesses to design and print labels at Target stores, Distribution Centers, and beyond. Prior to his current role, Ramakrishna worked as a Software Engineer at Target and Microfocus. At Microfocus, he worked as a software developer in the Network Operations Management team. He has experience in writing high-quality code adhering to the best practices of Java, including Test Driven Development (TDD), participating in code reviews, designing/architecting discussion for features, creating high-quality documentation, and supporting the design/coding tasks in an agile-driven software environment. Ramakrishna holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which he is expected to complete in 2022. He also has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University, which he completed in 2016.
