Raman Jaiswal is an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in Image and Video Processing. He completed his B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT BHU Varanasi in 2014. Currently, he works as an SDE2 at Amazon. Before joining Amazon, Raman worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Sling Media, Bangalore. He was a part of the SlingTV Roku team and worked on Video Streaming technology for the SlingBox product to provide OTA channels along with OTT channels across the world. He also worked on the migration of Sling player libraries to Sling SDK and integrating DVR recording feature to Sling Client Roku. Raman continuously worked towards enhancing the user experience by identifying bottlenecks and introducing new features in the current Sling TV application. Prior to Sling Media, Raman worked as a Senior Software Engineer in the Imaging System Team at Samsung R&D Institute Bangalore. He contributed to the enhancement of Camera algorithms and worked on various low-cost Camera solutions for high-end devices. He also has working experience in MEMS Sensor algorithm-based framework development. Raman is an experienced C++ developer who is always open to work on new technologies and challenging problems. He has an interest in mathematical and algorithmic problem-solving. In his leisure time, he likes playing badminton, swimming, running, and solving sudoku. Raman holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from IIT BHU Varanasi and completed his Intermediate from SSSV Inter College, Faizabad. His technical skills include Software Engineering, Android, Integration, Test, Mobile, and OpenCV. With 9.04 years of relevant experience, Raman is a valuable addition to any team.
