Ramanuj Choudhury is an accomplished Investment Banker with over 3 years of experience in Mergers and Acquisition, Project Advisory, Consultancy, Financial Appraisal, Financial Due Diligence and Deal Structuring. Currently working as a Manager at SBI Capital, India's leading investment bank in the domain of Project Advisory and Structured Finance, Ramanuj has been involved in a wide range of projects and has developed a reputation for his expertise in the field. Prior to joining SBI Capital, Ramanuj worked as a Deputy Manager and Associate at the same organization where he was involved in the restructuring of stressed assets, fund raising, execution of project and corporate finance transactions, M&A mandates as part of Project Advisory & Structured Finance Team, in-depth analysis of companies/sectors/transactions, developing detailed financial models, financial analysis, valuation & deal structuring, preparation of information memorandums, valuation report, due diligence report, sector presentation, end-to-end project support including coordination with lenders, law firms, auditors, technical consultants, etc. Ramanuj earned his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, which is also the second oldest engineering institute of the country. He pursued his PGDM from IMT Ghaziabad with a major in Finance and a minor in Operations. Prior to joining IMT, he was involved in Process Control, Monitoring and Decision-making involved in the operation of a 750 MW Thermal Power Station of CESC Ltd. (flagship power wing of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group) as an operation engineer. In his past time, Ramanuj can be seen either gaming, watching soccer or developing prediction game templates for tournaments like EuroCup, World Cup, IPL, quite a few of which he has already sold on the internet to parties from UK domains.
