Ramesh Babu is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer with over 14 years of experience in leading the design, development, and sustaining of system and software products. He is currently working with Juniper Networks as a Staff Software Engineer, where he is involved in the design and development of Jflow and Inline-Video monitoring solutions for Juniper MX series routers. Prior to his current role, Ramesh worked with Huawei Technologies as a Senior System Architect, where he was involved in the design and development of Storage Replication and Metro cluster solutions for OceanStor SSD AFA NAS and Scale-out (Distributed systems) NAS. He has also worked with Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer, where he was responsible for the design, development, and sustaining of system software products for NCS/CRS routers and UCS Rack servers. Ramesh's expertise also extends to EMC (Dell EMC), where he worked as an Associate Principal Engineer, involved in the design, development, and sustaining of Networker Backup/Recovery data protection software for MS Hyper-V, VMware, and block-based snapshot solutions. He has also worked with Wipro Technologies as a Software Engineer for the development of FC and Storage virtualization switch on Brocade’s Scimitar/Mars switches. With a strong background in operating system internals and networking concepts, Ramesh has submitted various solutions on High Performance Backup, Offline Backup, and Snapshot-based solutions. He is a dedicated and hard-working individual with excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills and the ability to work across all levels in the organization.
