He is a key member of the Corporate Engineering Team, responsible for ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, consumption, and security of all aspects of data. Ramesh's expertise lies in automating data pipelines, creating data models, building and maintaining data warehouses, and communicating with business analysts, data scientists, and business leaders to understand and meet their data needs. He has a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions to complex data challenges. Prior to joining Microsoft, Ramesh worked as a Senior Data Engineer and Data Engineer at Red Ventures. During his time there, he built a fail-safe batch processing pipeline, migrated a legacy warehouse into AWS cloud infrastructure, and developed a dynamic metadata-based ingestion system to ingest data from various sources. He also set up CI/CD pipelines for deploying data models and libraries in various environments. Ramesh holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University. He also completed his High School education in Computer Science from SBOA. His technical skills include Software Engineering, Data Engineering, SQL, Spark, AWS, Snowflake, CI/CD, Scala, and infra.
