Ramesh Kumar is a highly experienced Big Data and Cloud Architect with over 12 years of experience in the field. He has extensive knowledge in development and troubleshooting on Hadoop technologies like HDFS, MapReduce, Spark, Hive, Sqoop, etc. and has experience in Cloudera and Hortonworks distribution. Ramesh has expertise in Data Engineering and Cloud migration activities and is skilled in programming languages like Python, Scala, and Java. Ramesh is capable of processing large sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data and supporting systems application architecture. He has designed and developed optimized and standardized solutions for Data Integration (from upstream systems), Data Cleansing, Data Transformation, and Data Delivery to downstream systems. Ramesh has also developed and maintained Spark Batch and Streaming applications and has experience in Agile development process using scrum methodology. Ramesh has also worked on designing and implementing the Data Delivery format of master data that is understandable by reporting tools. He has presented technical sessions to understand the high-level architecture for the team members and provided technical support to the team to complete the most challenging tasks. Prior to Mindtree, Ramesh has worked as a Technical Lead at HCL and as an Assistant Consultant at TCS. He has a Master's degree in Computer Application from Kongu Engineering College and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Bharathiyar University.
