Ramesh Ramasamy is an experienced Validation Engineer in FPGA and SoC, currently working as a Senior Staff Manager at Intel. He has a strong expertise in FPGA and ASIC/SoC validation, test architecture, product & test engineering, and post-silicon validation. With over 17 years of relevant experience, Ramesh has completed multiple SoCs through test architecture definition, FPGA validation, and Ramp to Post Silicon Validation. Ramesh has solid leadership, teamwork, and project management capabilities, having led a 12+ size team. He is skilled in strategy, problem-solving, decision-making under uncertainty, design management, and effective communication. He has worked on 6 cutting-edge latest Intel products, demonstrating proven cross-site collaboration and problem-solving skills. Ramesh has breadth and vertical knowledge in validation from the product concept to all the way till release to the customer. He has also developed a scalable ‘E2E Endurance test’ on the helm of validation, which has helped to find more bugs compared to conventional validation methodology. Ramesh has strategically saved $200K+ by re-aligning BOM strategy validation & $400K by repurposing lab usage. He has given a new definition and newer life to the customer usage validation & shared the learning across the IOT product segments, resulting in clean execution. Ramesh has achieved 7 DRAs + 1 GRA + 70s of SRAs, and he is an active GPTW member to the team and group in site level. In his previous role as a Manager - Validation Team at Mirafra Software Technologies Ltd., Ramesh led a 12-member team of engineers from Trainee Engineer to SMTS engineers. He worked on 3 generations of Qualcomm Modem Chipsets & more than 8 Mobile chipsets. Ramesh has solid validation expertise in storage modules such as UFS/SD/eMMC/USB2/USB3. He mentored and created many entry-level engineers and actively engaged in team expansion and mass hiring activities. Ramesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University and a Higher Secondary degree in Computer Science from NHSS-India. His tech stack includes test, Senior Software Engineer, and Mobile.
