Ramkumar Govindarajan is a Founder and CEO at Wiz, a digital freight startup that is transforming global logistics for businesses in emerging markets. With over 10 years of relevant experience, he is a seasoned entrepreneur and product manager with a deep understanding of how to build and scale innovative products and tech infrastructure. Ramkumar is a graduate of the National University of Singapore, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Honours degree. He also attended DAV Boys School in Gopalapuram. His education has provided him with a strong foundation in engineering and technology, which he has leveraged to build successful startups. Prior to founding Wiz, Ramkumar was part of the founding team at Lynk Logistics, where he served as Chief Product Officer. He helped build and scale the last mile business from scratch to five cities with a customer base of 100K+ businesses and 15000+ driver partners. He also built and led an incredible team of 60+ across Engineering, Product, and Data who helped create innovative products and a robust tech infrastructure that helped the company scale to more than 2 million trips. Before Lynk Logistics, Ramkumar was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Rocket Internet South East Asia, where he worked on GTM, product, and growth. This experience gave him a deep understanding of how to build and scale successful startups in emerging markets. Ramkumar's technical expertise includes product management and infrastructure. He is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and is committed to building a better future for businesses in emerging markets.
