RangaRao Alla is a highly experienced Network Test Engineer at Google with over 13 years of experience in testing L2/L3 protocols and 8 years of experience in testing data center products, specifically switches. He is a skilled professional with a deep understanding of networking technologies and protocols, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. RangaRao has worked with several leading companies in the networking industry, including Pluribus Networks and Brocade. At Pluribus Networks, he gained hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and Auto deployment, worked on ELK stack (Elastic search), Kafka cluster, and designed and deployed Analytics Application on Cluster Platform. He was also involved in ZTP and Ansible Testing and gained knowledge on AWS Networking. At Brocade, RangaRao worked on EMC Storage with VMware ESXi5.5 for vMotion, L2/L3 Multicast on VDX platform (PIM-SM, MLD, and IGMP Snooping) and presently working on BGP v4. He moved to a new test group called CBIT (Customer Baseline integration testing), which is an end-to-end solution testing all Brocade product lines, including VMware Vcenter, NSX controller, Storage (FC, FCOE &ISCSI), SDN, NFV, Layer 2 & Layer 3 Protocols, and Management plane. He completed Brocade Certified Professional Converged Networks (BCPCN) & Brocade Certified Fabric Administrator (Gen 5) certifications. RangaRao holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from SKSRM College of Engineering, and he also completed a course in Python Programming from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He has a strong tech stack that includes test, SDET, AWS, Ansible, Elastic Search, Kafka, Search, and Integration.
