He has over 6 years of relevant experience in Application and Product Security, Security engineering, Cloud and Infrastructure security, and is highly experienced in AWS, GCP, Azure, k8s, and docker. Ranjan has a strong background in writing and securing code and is particularly enthusiastic about automating security day-to-day tasks. He is also a Bugcrowd top 100 Hacker worldwide and has a proven track record of success in participating in bug bounty programs. In addition to his technical expertise, Ranjan is also an accomplished writer and speaker, having written numerous articles and given talks on topics related to security. He is a top Hacker (#1) on Hubspot and Quora bug bounty program, and his work has been featured in several publications and conferences. Currently, Ranjan is responsible for building the Infosec team from scratch at Rubrik, where he has hired Security Engineers and scaled the Infosec Team. He has also developed and led Product & Cloud Security Strategies, and is responsible for SecOps, Application Security, and Infra (AWS & GCP). Prior to Rubrik, Ranjan worked at Nestaway Technologies Pvt Ltd as a Senior Security Engineer, where he built the Infosec team from scratch and developed and led Product & Cloud Security Strategies. He has also worked at Zoomcar as a Security Engineer Intern, where he worked on web app security, mobile app security, and source code review. Ranjan has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) and has completed his schooling from Bal Bhawan Bhiwani.
