Raphael Shorser is a highly motivated and technical engineering leader with over 11 years of relevant experience. He was on the founding team of Marcus by Goldman Sachs and the Apple Card, and is currently an Engineering Leader at Flexport. He is also a Founding Fellow at On Deck and a Fintech Advisor & Investor. At Goldman Sachs, Raphael held several positions, including Global Head of Fraud Engineering at Marcus by Goldman Sachs and Engineering Manager on the founding team of the Apple Card. He built and led a global team of engineers responsible for the fraud, transactions, and rewards platforms for the Apple Card. He was also a senior engineer responsible for issuer integration with Mastercard (ISO 8583) and co-led the build-out of a new office in San Francisco. Raphael holds a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Yeshiva University. He is proficient in senior software engineering and integration, and is passionate about learning, shipping, and teaching. He enjoys cycling and believes that any day on the bike is a good day. As an Engineering Leader at Flexport, Raphael brings his wealth of experience and technical expertise to the table. He is a dedicated team player with a proven track record of building and leading successful teams.
