Raquel Thiele is a Senior Product Manager at Shopee Poland with a passion for product, technology, and innovation. With 8 years of experience in technology, Raquel has worked with product, technology, and design squads in the enterprise business and startups from different sectors such as Education and Health, mainly in Technology. Her main motivation is to build products that make people happier. Raquel is a very organized person fascinated by product, technology, and innovations, who likes to understand people and their motivations. She started working in the traditional software development business in 2015 but was uncomfortable about the process. In 2016, she started to study Agile Methods, Design Thinking, Product development, and never stopped. More than the rules of each method, Raquel is passionate about the Agile way of thinking with a focus on people, the customer's need, and flexibility to change. Raquel has worked with Lean and Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP, OKR, TDD, and BDD. She also uses business strategic tools such as proto-personas, Business Model Canvas, and Value Proposition Canvas (Alex Osterwalder), Golden Circle (Simon Sinek), Three-Hour Brand Sprint (Jake Knapp/Google Venture), Design Studio Method (Brian K. Sullivan), and User Story Mapping (Jeff Patton). Raquel is skilled in technologies such as Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, Jira, Trello, Miro, Bitbucket, and AWS services.
