Ratika is an accomplished educator and content developer with over 5 years of experience in teaching and developing science curriculum. She is currently working as a Teacher at Heritage Xperiential Learning School and is responsible for teaching science to Grade 6 students while coordinating the science curriculum/pedagogy with the use of NCF (National Curriculum Framework, 2005). She has also led a team of teachers for designing, planning, and implementing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) impacting 250+ students. Ratika is a Teach for India Alumna and a Gold-medalist who has trained 2 individuals to be a teacher under the flagship programme of IAAT (I AM A TEACHER) helping them to achieve a post-graduate diploma in learning and teaching. She has also conducted Teacher Training workshops and parents-driven workshops to ensure holistic student development while spearheading the academic, social, and moral development of 150+ Grade 5 and 6 students as a Teach for India Fellow. Apart from her teaching experience, Ratika has also worked as a Freelance Researcher at the National Institute of Immunology (NII) and has a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Nottingham. She has a Bachelor's degree in Education from Maharshi Dayanand University and a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. Ratika is proficient in using new technologies like Jamboard, Kahoot, Flipgrid, Teamie, Breakout Rooms, etc. to build an online model of teaching. She has also helped 35 students come up with their own stories of COVID and present it in a virtual museum while leading a team of 35 students to initiate a local drive, in and around Gurgaon residential areas, to generate awareness about segregation of waste. With her expertise in building data-driven solutions to problems in education and implementing interventions that lead to measurable impact, Ratika is a valuable addition to any educational institution.
