Ratnesh is an expert in defining and implementing the finance metadata program, including the capture of technical, business, and operational metadata and its overall management and governance. Ratnesh has partnered with business teams to implement metadata and lineage tools and collaborated with them to provide enhancements to existing tools that drive efficiency and an overall better data environment experience. His efforts led to $200k+ savings in data processing in perpetuity. He has also been credited for driving the metadata strategy framework to automate metadata lineage solutions at the enterprise level in American Express. Ratnesh has managed audit and regulatory metadata deliverables, including those for Basel, CCAR, Y11/2314, Y9C/LP, etc. He has provided lineage solutions for multiple technologies like Hive, Pig, Spark, Databases like Oracle, OFSAA, Teradata, Netezza, My SQL, PostgreSQL, MemSql, YellowBrick, OBIEE, Tableau, and ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, etc. Ratnesh has designed and implemented the machine learning program for data standardization that includes the automation of building business glossaries, flagging and classifying PII, classifying data attributes by domains and enterprise standards, and grouping attributes by semantic similarity and data profiling results.
