Raushan Singh is a passionate software engineer and data engineer with over 4 years of work experience. He has strong hands-on experience in programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python3, and Cpp. He is also proficient in frameworks such as SpringBoot, Flask, and Django, and databases such as MySql and Oracle. Raushan has experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS (S3), GCP (GCS, BigQuery), and Microsoft Azure (IOT Device Twin). He is also skilled in data engineering tools such as Airflow, ControlM, ElasticSearch, Kibana, GraphQl, and Neo4j, as well as message queues such as Kafka. Currently, Raushan is working as an SDE-2 at PayPal, where he has developed several features, including one that extracts all the Informatica ETL jobs and related information from a GitHub repository and transforms them into Data-Lineage, which is then loaded into Data-Hub. He has also developed a feature that extracts all the Control-m ETL jobs and related information from Control-M DB (Oracle) and transforms them into Data-Lineage, which is then loaded into ES and Kibana. Both Control-M and Informatica Data-Lineage have increased data-lineage orchestration by 70%. Raushan has also developed API endpoints exposing the Data-Lineage for the Control-M and Informatica ETL jobs for external team consumption, leading to an increase in detecting anomalies in data by 75% by the operation team. Prior to joining PayPal, Raushan worked as an SDE-1 at Otis Elevator Co. and United Technologies. At Otis Elevator Co., he developed a video-streaming solution using Twilio, a client-server micro-service in Python, a feature that reads and writes configuration to different microservices through TCP/IP (ZMQ) socket endpoints on the same machine, and a feature using Paho-MQTT client
