Ravi Shankar Jaluka is an experienced BI & Data Warehouse Engineer with a strong background in data analytics and engineering. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from BIT MESRA. Ravi is skilled in SQL, Python, Spark, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and has demonstrated experience in CRM data architectures, Fact Dimension modelling, and other related areas. Currently, Ravi is working as a Lead BI & DWH Engineer at blinkit. He has worked on automation of search monetisation reports/ analyses through scheduled ELTs, which helped in reducing manual reporting and gave better insights to brands on ROI, increasing the brand fund by 15%. He has also managed and worked on end-to-end development of digital marketing dashboards in Tableau, which helped in analyzing digital marketing spends, CAC, new user conversions, and decreased the CAC by 20-25%. Ravi has led and worked on the development and reconciliation of the landing price data for different products in the data warehouse. He has also managed and mentored the development of Tableau dashboards for analysis of key KPIs at hourly and daily levels for different merchants in different cities. Previously, Ravi worked at fractal as a Consultant II, where he designed and developed fact dimension architecture built on top of Hive/ Impala/ SQL source lake tables and views in data warehouse. He also performed CRM Analysis on new consumers recruitment, retention%, AUS, etc. for different brands, different geographies across various timeframes using Spark frameworks. Ravi created SQL stored procedures, Spark SQL scripts for data ETL pipelines through various data design layers ensuring fault-resilient data flow systems. He optimized the stored procedures and Spark SQL scripts to improve the execution time and decrease the data latency. Ravi created impressive reports and dashboards in Power BI for users to draw insights from the data. These Power BI reports helped in analyzing the performance of various brands in various markets though trends and charts for MTD/ YTD etc. and influence key stakeholders' decisions. Before fractal, Ravi worked at Byju's as a Senior Product Development Associate. He has a relevant experience of 7.27 years and is proficient in technologies like SQL, Data Warehouse, Big Data, Spark, Python, ETL, Search, Apache Hive, Data Engineering, MySQL, Azure, and more.
