Ravi Akash is a passionate and enthusiastic Masters student at Universität Stuttgart with a keen interest in Autonomous driving, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Control Engineering. He is constantly seeking opportunities to learn, explore, and innovate with cutting-edge technologies that contribute towards a sustainable future. Currently, Ravi works as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft at Fraunhofer IPA, where he is responsible for the development of a data-based model to predict battery cell quality after formation based on cause-effect relationships. He has also optimized the existing discrete-event simulation of the cell finishing process to Virtual Production concept with a focus on the formation process in Matlab/Simulink. Ravi has integrated the quality prediction model into an existing discrete-event simulation model for an integrated evaluation of time and energy required to produce a single cell. His research on synthetic datasets for training and testing the discrete-event simulation model has been highly appreciated. Previously, Ravi worked as an Electronics Engineer at Muzero Hyperloop and as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft at the University of Stuttgart. At the University of Stuttgart, he applied machine learning methods to dynamically estimate the Li-ion battery cell temperature using measurements from electrical impedance spectroscopy. He investigated temperature estimation for different cell types at various states of charge (SoC) and different superimposed direct currents. Ravi has completed his Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from SRM University and is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Msc INFOTECH from the University of Stuttgart. He has also completed his Mathematics and Computer Science degree from D.A.V Boys Senior Secondary School Mogappair and his SSLC from D.A.V Boys Senior Secondary School, Mogappair. Ravi's technical skills include Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Integration, and Testing. He has 2.43 years of relevant experience in the industry and is always eager to learn and grow.
