Ravi Mashru is a highly skilled software developer with a passion for building software that solves problems and improves people's lives. With over 4 years of experience in the field, he has worked as a front-end developer, full stack developer, operations specialist, machine learning specialist, trainer, and technical lead. He is currently working as a Cloud Native Development Expert in the SAP Sales Cloud team. Ravi is an advocate of automation and has automated several processes within his team, eliminating the possibility of human error and increasing team efficiency. In his recent role as a technical lead, he is working with his team and stakeholders to create tooling that automates checks for user experience consistency in SAP products. He is well-versed in JavaScript and Typescript, Angular, React, Redux, NodeJS, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Git and GitHub, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Webpack, Ansible, and Terraform. Ravi believes that the best way to learn is by teaching and sharing knowledge with others. He actively conducts trainings and workshops for machine learning at SAP and has helped train over 300 employees so far. He also actively mentors junior engineers and participates in reverse mentoring with senior engineers, architects, and managers in his team. In his free time, Ravi teaches machine learning at the Institute of AI and keeps himself up-to-date with the latest technologies by working on open source and side projects. He believes it is also important to completely disconnect from technology sometimes to recuperate. During such times, he looks after the plants in his balcony garden and cooks new dishes. Ravi holds a Master of Technology in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and has certifications in Full Stack Web Development and Machine Learning. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Electronics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from The Oxford College of Science - Bangalore University, and an IB Diploma from The Aga Khan High School, Kampala. Ravi's technical skills, experience, and passion for problem-solving make him a valuable asset to any team.
