Ravi Shankar is an autodidact with a passion for physics and coding, particularly in the open-source space. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Ravi has worked in various roles as a software engineer, backend engineer, and a blockchain developer. He is currently working as a Blockchain Developer at Cake DeFi, where he is responsible for developing and implementing blockchain solutions. Prior to his current role, Ravi has worked as a Backend Engineer at Hasty.ai and a Senior Software Engineer at Genome International. At Genome International, Ravi was involved in porting backend pipelines from Python to Go and building an analytics engine for monitoring AWS services using Python and Rust. He also worked on an OpenAPI tooling library for type-safe compile-time checked HTTP APIs in Rust. Ravi's tech stack includes Blockchain, DeFi, AI, Backend, Python, AWS, and Software Engineering. He is passionate about creating and diagnosing stuff, whether it is an app, a feature, or anything that can save time for a lot of people. In addition to coding and reading, Ravi enjoys playing games, badminton, blogging, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Ravi's expertise in blockchain and software development, coupled with his curiosity and passion for learning, makes him a valuable asset to any team.
