Ravikumar Ramasamy is a seasoned Senior Big Data Engineer with over 14 years of experience in building batch processing and real-time stream processing with big distributed systems and web-based enterprise applications. He also developed a real-time data pipeline using Kafka, Spark Streaming to ingest data into a data-lake, and managed EMR cluster management including creation of the cluster, performance tuning, and monitoring. He built an interactive ad-hoc analysis job submission from micro-services to Spark cluster with Livy REST services and a Jenkins Job to deploy Spark application into EMR cluster.
