Ravinder Verma is an experienced Data Base Administrator with over 34 years of relevant experience in managing Oracle, DB2, and Informix databases. He has expertise in managing Oracle 8i,9i,10g, and 11g databases, with experience in managing a 400 Gb Datawarehouse project on Aix 5.2 and DB2 V7.2 fixpack 10. Additionally, he has experience in managing Informix Database on Sun Solaris with Informix Dynamic Server 9.3, as well as interaction with vendors and clients to resolve issues with regard to databases. Ravinder has worked on FileNet IS upgrades and data migrations, DB2 10.5 with case manager, and setup of HADR on DB2. He has also provided and implemented cross Data center RAC on VMware environment. Furthermore, he has experience in migration of Oracle Database from on-premise to Azure cloud and migration and conversion of Oracle Database to SQL DB on AWS Cloud. Currently, Ravinder is working as a Data Base Administrator at IBM. He has previously worked at HCL as a Manager and Senior Database Consultant. At HCL Technologies Singapore, he played the team cum technology lead role in the System Refresh Project for Energy Market Singapore, completed the data migration and implementation of the ePACS project for URA, and implemented the Business and Customer Performance Reporting Project for Standard Chartered Bank. He has also completed a FileNet Image Services certification from IBM Singapore and is currently supporting clients like Land Transport Authority (LTA), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), and Inland Revenue Authority Singapore (IRAS). Additionally, he is working as a primary database consultant on a project for Vital.org and completed the report generation for Tyco Flow Control, Singapore by using procedures and functions in SQL Server 2005 and macros in Excel to retrieve the final result from SQL Server automatically. Ravinder has a B.Com(P) degree from Delhi University and completed his 12th from Frank Anthony Public School. He has expertise in AWS, SQL, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, Azure, infra, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, CI/CD, test, Elastic Search, Web, Flask, and Software Engineering.
