Ravindra Kompella is a highly experienced Vice President of Technology with expertise in machine learning, AI, and computer vision. He has a proven track record of applying Python, R, OpenCV, and Pytorch for algorithm development, data modeling, deep learning, statistical learning, and data visualization. With hands-on experience in applying several ML/AI/statistical algorithms to real-world problems, Ravindra specializes in computer vision and artificial intelligence in video/image processing, object detection, and design and development in C, C++, Python, R, Pytorch, Keras, and OpenCV. Ravindra has applied his knowledge of machine learning/AI in several areas, including computer vision, object localization and segmentation, image classification, text mining and text classification, NLP, sentiment analysis, fraud detection, spam detection, recommendation engine, market basket analysis, business optimization, and predictive modeling. He is also proficient in Linux/Ubuntu, iOS, Swift, mobile application development using Xcode, Swift, and gaming engines such as Unity and Construct2. Ravindra's achievements include three patents in Deep learning/CV, being a recipient of the Edwards Deming scholarship for ML/AI & Big data optimization program, being the engineering head and consulting partner for EndoVigilant, an outsourcing partner for the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA, and an ISV partner for Intel. Currently, Ravindra is the CEO and Founder of Dhee Yantra Technologies, which develops AI-enabled computer-aided detection software to assist gastroenterologists in achieving higher efficacy and efficiency in their endoscopy procedures in real-time. Previously, he worked as the Vice President of Technology for EndoVigilant and as the Principal Engineer for CK12 Foundation. Ravindra holds a B.Tech degree from IIT and an M.S in Software Systems Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
