Ravishankara Srinivasa is a highly experienced Product Engineering Leader with over 20 years of experience in leading the design and development of Enterprise Web Applications, Cloud Communication Platforms (CPaaS, UCaaS), IoT, VOIP, and Telecom Application Servers. He is a customer-focused individual who is passionate about meeting strategic business goals and delivering customer success. Currently, Ravishankara is serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Gupshup, where he is responsible for driving product engineering initiatives and leading the development of enterprise web and application servers for cloud solution platforms (PaaS, SaaS), IoT, and AI. Prior to his current role, Ravishankara has held several leadership positions in renowned organizations such as Skylo Technologies and Plivo. At Skylo Technologies, he was the Director of Engineering, where he was part of the engineering team developing a highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant, cloud-native solution to deliver timely, relevant, and meaningful IoT information to customers. At Plivo, he served as the Director of Engineering, where he focused on building a scalable and reliable SIP Trunking solution for UCaaS and CPaaS to enable enterprises to communicate with their customers efficiently. Ravishankara holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. He is also an alumnus of the Institute of Product Leadership, where he pursued an eMBA in Product Leadership. With a strong technical background in web development, AI, and senior software engineering, Ravishankara brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to any organization he works with. He is a strategic thinker, a problem solver, and a team player who is passionate about driving product innovation and delivering customer-centric solutions.
