Remya Ramakrishnan is an experienced Application Engineer with a career spanning almost a decade. She has worked in various roles, including Customer Support & Marketing Engineer and Inside Sales Engineer, gaining a wealth of knowledge and skills in the electrical engineering field. Currently, Remya is working at Eaton as an Application & Customer Support Engineer, where she is responsible for creating proposals, bids, and bill of materials for hazardous products that comply with standards such as ATEX/IECEx/UL/INMETRO/CSA/PESO/NEC 500/NEC 505. She also evaluates costing and pricing based on customer needs and provides training to new team members. Additionally, Remya manages social media marketing accounts on LinkedIn and Yammer to promote Eaton CBO business in India. In her previous role at Weidmuller Electronics India Pvt. Ltd, Remya was responsible for providing technical support to field sales teams and customers on WM products. She prepared techno-commercial documents for government bids/tenders, provided customized solutions on hazardous products, and conducted global customer satisfaction surveys. Remya also handled end-to-end marketing activities such as social media promotions, roadshows, exhibitions, and technical write-ups. Before joining Weidmuller, Remya worked at R.Stahl as an Inside Sales Engineer, where she was responsible for preparing and reviewing techno-commercial offers for explosion-proof switchgear and automation. She also prepared bill of materials, costing, and work orders for bids and tenders and conducted regular meetings with the planning department for order shipment and stock forecasting. Remya holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from GKM College of Engineering and Technology. With almost 10 years of relevant experience, Remya has developed a range of professional skills and is a valuable asset to any organization seeking an Application Engineer.
