Reuben Firmin is a seasoned technology leader with over 22 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as the CTO at ExecVision, he is spearheading the development of a cutting-edge conversation analytics product. Reuben is passionate about solving practical problems that others have not yet tackled, and is always on the lookout for talented engineers to join his team. Prior to his current role, Reuben founded 4rc.io, a boutique consulting company that specializes in building technology for early-stage startups. As the founder, he oversaw a range of activities including virtual CTO services, team sourcing, product and graphic design, architecture, coding, QA, cloud dev/ops, commercialization, market analysis, tech budgeting and payroll, big data, machine learning, and NLP. Today, the company has pivoted to focus on payroll and vendor bill consolidation for small tech companies, as well as online ecommerce with multiple private label products. Reuben's entrepreneurial spirit also led him to co-found Quad Cartel, an online quadcopter parts import store and corporate entity behind a patented new quadcopter related prototype. Reuben's educational background includes a BSc. (Hons) in Computing Science from the University of Aberdeen, which he completed in 1999. He has also honed his skills as a Senior Software Engineer and has expertise in Spring.
