Reynold Wu is a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager at Google with a passion for building innovative products that solve critical user problems. With over 10 years of relevant experience, he has a unique perspective on the Chinese market and global technology trends. Reynold's current focus is on developing connected in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems, which will bring a personalized, safer, and connected driving experience to every user. Currently, Reynold is leading multiple Google Assistant products on Auto, focusing on product innovation in hotwording, ASR, NLP, Connectivity, Safety, and more. He is responsible for driving product development and business growth across AsiaPac and the US, providing him with a wealth of experience in managing global product, project, business, marketing, and SE teams. Before joining Google, Reynold co-built the Rokid AR business unit from scratch to over 100 employees. He launched award-winning AR glasses "Rokid Glass" globally in 2019, securing multimillion-dollar business contracts, and landed smart speaker "Rokid Mini" in China, boosting the company's install-base by 4 times. Prior to Rokid, Reynold played different roles in multiple industries, including Startup Incubation, Investment Consulting, Semiconductor, Enterprise Storage, and E-commerce. Reynold is also a passionate mentor and coach in entrepreneurship, product innovation, and Go-to-Market strategy in both the US and China. He has guest-lectured in Berkeley, NYU, CMU, and Stanford, sharing his vast knowledge and experience with the next generation of product managers. Reynold holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering & Telecommunication from New York University and a Marketing & Product & Sales degree from Stanford University. He has a strong tech stack that includes product management, AI, Computer Vision, NLP, Android, and infra.
