Reza Lesmana is a seasoned software engineer with over a decade of experience in project and product development across various fields, including business improvement, finance, and logistics. He is currently the Head of Engineering at Alterra Indonesia, where he leads a team of 23 software engineers and oversees the development of various products. Previously, Reza worked at Gojek as Tech Lead of Pickup Experience stream under Transport - Journey Experience, where he focused on enhancing customer experience by increasing pickup location accuracy, enriching customer experience while waiting to be picked up by drivers, and providing and experimenting with different kinds of pickup points such as Instant shelters. He also worked as a Product Engineer at Gojek, delivering product features for the Transport - Booking Experience team. Before joining Gojek, Reza was a Tech Lead at Finmas, a fintech company that created middleware for loan payment and transfer, working with several banks in Indonesia. He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer on Blibli.com's logistic platform, integrating the ecommerce platform with third-party logistics providers and creating integration over microservices and REST web services. Reza's expertise lies in setting the overall design architecture of the system with a clear vision of distributed systems in a multi-threaded environment, breaking it down to modular systems, and implementing it in a way that achieves maximum performance. He is skilled in various tools and technologies, including Spring Framework, Hibernate, ZKoss, .NET Framework, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and Akka. Reza has also worked for an IT consultant company, where he worked on banking and finance projects for clients such as Indonesian Exchange (IDX), Bank of America Meryll-Lynch, and Bank Danamon. He also designed the architecture and led the implementation of investor's transaction report for PT. Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (KBI) as a scalable cloud application serving active thousand users and millions of transactions online. Reza holds a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Universitas Gunadarma. He is a product manager, with parts-of-speech and integration skills.
