Reza Moazzami is a seasoned business educator and entrepreneur with over 22 years of experience in the industry. As the founder of StrategyTMT.com, he has launched a new version of highly-rated strategy and general management courses that are unbundled from university affiliations and offered on-demand to working professionals. Prior to this, Reza was an educator at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where he created the Technology/Media/Telecommunications (TMT) strategy and general management curriculum for four degree programs and taught over a thousand students. His courses consistently ranked among the top 10% of electives at Berkeley-Haas. Before his career in education, Reza was a venture capitalist and startup founder focused on early-stage investing across various industries and markets, including telecom, software, semiconductors/displays, and consumer/retail. He was the CEO of a Web 1.0 startup that was eventually acquired by Akamai Technologies. Reza's earlier career as a researcher and engineer is also noteworthy, with 11 patents and over 30 peer-reviewed publications in top journals and conferences. He has worked at UC Berkeley, IBM Research, and Motorola (now Freescale), and was accepted at Carnegie Mellon, MIT, and Stanford. Reza holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He also has a Master of Science (MS) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) with highest honors in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
