Rhony Siagian is an experienced Android Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working as an Android Engineer at Sehatq, a medium-big size android engineering team, where he is involved in the core team that maintains article, content, profile, and personal medical record. Rhony is proficient in using Kotlin programming language for android development and has a keen interest in server-side development using Kotlin Ktor server, mobile DevOps (CI/CD), and Swift for iOS. Rhony has worked with various companies in the past, including Umma Indonesia, where he led the android engineering team across the country for Indonesia and India. At Umma, he worked on developing features such as Quran, Qiblah, Shalat, Daily Dhuas, Podcast, and Donation. Rhony is well-versed in using MVVM for newest features and some MVP, Kotlin and Java, Rx Android, feature modularization, Exoplayer, Firebase, and Appsflyer. He has also worked at PT Matahari Department Store Tbk, where he built a native android app from scratch and maintained it using Kotlin, Java programming language, and analytic tools. Rhony was also involved in the recruitment process for android engineer candidates and was the PIC on the android team. Rhony has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stmik Mikroskil, which he obtained in 2014. He is a continuous learner and loves to take courses, both paid and free, for brain investment. Rhony is proficient in using Android, CI/CD, iOS, DevOps, and Mobile technologies. He is a team player and enjoys working collaboratively with others to finish projects. Despite the pandemic, Rhony is actively participating in daily and weekly standups while working from home.
