Richard Kublik is a computational scientist with over 18 years of experience in developing efficient, scalable computational algorithms and automating manually intensive tasks. He is skilled in applied mathematics, algorithm development, numerical analysis, and mathematical modeling and simulation. Richard is also proficient in Python, R, Matlab, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the domain of computational sciences. He has expertise in graph analytics, exploratory analysis, machine learning, data visualization, and SQL in the field of data science. Currently, Richard is working as the Computational Sciences Lead at Tenet3 LLC, an R&D software and services company that supports the government and defense industry. He assists the Director of R&D in developing goals and objectives for the R&D team, mentors junior team members, and provides technical guidance for projects in computer vision, scalable algorithms, and data science. Richard also coordinates monthly reporting of the entire R&D team, facilitates communication with key stakeholders, and collaborates with the engineering team on tech-transition of new capabilities. Previously, Richard worked as a Research Scientist at Tenet3 LLC, where he developed novel capabilities across a diverse set of projects, including data science, computer vision, graph analytics, and computational algorithms. He also worked as an Analyst at The Perduco Group, where he was part of the sports analytics group and developed algorithms and tools to assist individuals with fantasy sports drafts and improve betting trend analytics algorithms to provide better recommendations to users. Richard holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University, an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from The University of British Columbia, a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Alberta, and a B.A. in Music from The King's University College. He is proficient in AWS, computer vision, data science, machine learning, neural networks, SQL, web development, deep learning, Python, MongoDB, and JavaScript.
