Richeek Arya is an experienced Co-Founder with over 11 years of experience in the health wellness and fitness industry. He is currently working as the Co-Founder of Remedo, where he is leading the team towards a connected healthcare system. Richeek is skilled in Apache ZooKeeper, Hive, Java, Scala, Android Development, and HBase. He is a strong business development professional with a Masters degree focused in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University. Prior to his current role, Richeek worked as a Software Engineer at Groupon, where he led the technical team in creating scalable microservices for price optimizations, revenue management, data science experiments around prices, price A/B testing, and more. He was responsible for scaling a service from 800K Request Per Minute to 3.2M Request Per Minute using algorithmic optimizations, JVM tuning, TCP tuning, and other techniques. Richeek also worked on ingesting large quantities of data into HBase, a distributed hash table, and championed knowledge sharing of this complex piece of software. Before Groupon, Richeek worked as a Software Engineer at Intel, where he maintained and developed Intel's internal CAD tool written in C++, used in characterization and modeling of Intel's Standard Cell Libraries. He came up with a Graphical User Interface for the tool written in Qt in C++ that provides users an intuitive way to configure it. Richeek has a strong technical background and is proficient in Software Engineering, Scala, Java, Android, testing, Data Science, MySQL, Hadoop, Microservices, Senior Software Engineering, and Apache Hive. He is a highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
